Geekbench has revealed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M35 5G smartphone carries the model number SM-M356B. While the official name has not been revealed, given the similarity of the model numbers of the previous generation smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy M3x series, it could be the Galaxy M35 5G. The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G and M33 had model numbers SM-M346B and SM-M336B respectively.
In terms of benchmark results, the Samsung smartphone scored 656 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 1,967 points in the multi-core test. The listing also revealed that the Samsung phone will be powered by the in-house Exynos 1380 processor. This 5 nanometer process chipset includes four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and Mali G68 GPU for graphics. The Geekbench database also revealed that the device will debut with 6GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 operating system.
So far, only information about the phone’s RAM, OS and chipset has been revealed. It is expected that this Samsung device will be launched as a downgraded version of Samsung Galaxy A35 5G which was launched last week. And going by the recent trend of Galaxy M-series smartphones, the upcoming phone could also have a massive 6,000 mAh battery.
The recently launched Samsung Galaxy A35 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED (sAMOLED) display with 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support and Infinity-O notch. It comes with Exynos 1380 processor and Mali G68 GPU. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
For photography, the Galaxy A35 5G sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. And there is only one 13 megapixel camera in front It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Finally, the phone runs on Android 14-based OneUI 6 custom skin.
