Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus phone with model number SM-S926U has been listed on Geekbench benchmarking platform. According to the listing, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with a maximum clock speed of 3.30 GHz and a base frequency of 2.27 GHz. The device will offer 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 based operating system. In the Geekbench tests, the phone scored phenomenal. It scored 2,223 points in Geekbench 6 single-core test and 6,661 points in multi-core test.
Note that Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 series with different processors depending on the country. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variant will apparently arrive in the US. However, it is not yet known in which countries it will be available with the company’s own Exynos 2400 chip. Exynos generally lag behind Qualcomm Snapdragon processors in terms of performance and efficiency. But it remains to be seen whether the 10-core Exynos 2400 processor will break that trend.
