Speculations have been rife for quite some time now that Redmi is gearing up to launch the successor to the Redmi Note 11T Pro that was launched in May last year in the Chinese market, which will debut as the Redmi Note 12T Pro as usual. The phone has already been spotted on China’s 3C (CCC) certification database and Geekbench benchmarking platform. And now the brand has finally officially confirmed the launch of the upcoming Note 12T Pro in the Chinese market. Also, the company has also shared a few images to give a glimpse of the design of the upcoming handset. Let’s take a look at them.
The promotional teaser of Redmi Note 12 Pro has been released
The teaser shared by Redmi confirmed that the new Redmi Note 12 Pro will come with an LCD panel, which will offer a 144Hz refresh rate and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The teaser also gave a glimpse of the phone’s design, showing that the Note 12 Pro’s screen will be flat like its predecessor. The brand also revealed that the device will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimension 8200 Ultra chipset.
Notably, a Redmi phone with model number 23054RA19C was recently spotted on Geekbench and China Compulsory Certification (3C) database last week. Most likely, this device will be launched in the Chinese market as Redmi Note 12 Pro. However, it is also rumored that the said device may debut as Redmi K60i.
The Dimension 8200 Ultra-powered Redmi Note 12T Pro is expected to offer 12GB of RAM and run on Android 13 operating system. As per the 3C certification of the device, it will come with 67W fast charging support. But apart from these, other details of the smartphone remain unknown for now.
Note that the Redmi Note 12T Pro phone will be a new addition to the Note 12 series. There are already several models available in the Chinese market under this lineup. These are – Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition, Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, and Redmi Note 12T Turbo.
