The Redmi Note 14 series is going to hit the market this month itself. The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Poco X7 phones have now been spotted in the IMEI database ahead of the launch. Both the smartphones will have similar specifications. This suggests that the Poco X7 model will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G phone. However, there will be some differences between Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Poco X7. This difference can be seen especially in the case of the camera. Xiaomi's aim is to sell the Poco X7 at a low price and make this new smartphone affordable to all categories of buyers.
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Poco X7 appear in IMEI database
It was revealed earlier this month that the Redmi Note 14 5G will be rebranded as the Poco M7 Pro 5G. It is now officially known that the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G phone will be rebranded as Poco X7. Both the devices are codenamed “Amethyst” and will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 processor (SM7635). This is going to be a pretty significant upgrade over the previous Note 13 Pro 5G model. Because the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 was a Samsung-made processor. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G phone carries the model number 24090RA29G, while the model number of the Poco X7 phone is 24095PCADG. A few weeks ago, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G handset received China Compulsory Certification (3C) platform approval with model number 24090RA29C. However, the smartphone that passed the 3C certification had 45W fast charging support. This is a disadvantage. Because the previous Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G came with 67W fast charging support. The new Note 14 Pro 5G model will be able to fast charge up to 45 watts. Although the new generation Note 14 series is going to be improved in terms of processor etc., it is also rumored that there will be some downgrades compared to the previous series.
Meanwhile, the standard Redmi Note 14 5G model can fast charge up to 45W and is an improvement over the Redmi Note 13 5G phone. The Redmi Note 13 5G handset supports 33W fast charging. It is understood that Xiaomi is going to make some changes. However, the downgrade to fast charging on the Pro model may disappoint customers. It has already been confirmed that Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G will be the first smartphone with Qualcomm 7s Gen 3 processor. But the new Redmi Note 14 series is highly anticipated and the devices are expected to be officially unveiled by the end of the month.
