Redmi 12 has finally been launched. Redmi 12 specifications and features
The Redmi 12 features a 6.79-inch LCD display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone offers FullHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 550 nits peak brightness. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. In terms of design, the smartphone features a compact form factor and houses three camera sensors without any camera module on the rear panel. The Redmi 12 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of in-built storage.
For photography, the Redmi 12’s triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And there is an 8 megapixel selfie camera on the front of the phone. For backup, it is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging.
The phone runs on Android 13 based MIUI 14 user interface. Also, the Redmi 12’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm jack.
Redmi 12 Price and Availability
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Redmi 12 has been priced at 5,299 Thai baht (approximately Rs. 12,550) in the Thailand market. However, the prices of its 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage models have not been revealed yet. The phone will be available in Midnight Black, Sky Blue and Polar Silver color options. It is not yet known when the phone will be launched in the Indian market.
