Realme launched Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ in India late last month. Realme released two phones in China yesterday. Surprisingly, a new model called Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition has been spotted on the company’s online store in China. But the company has not brought any phone in India under this name. Let’s see what Realme’s Supreme Edition phone is going to have.
Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition: Price and Launch Date
The Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition model is listed at 2,199 Yuan (roughly Rs. 25,325). It will be available in beige and blue color options. The specifications mentioned on its dedicated page on Realme’s website in China indicate that it will offer the same specifications as the Realme 12 Pro.
All variants of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus will go on sale in China from March 1, while the Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition will be available for purchase on March 11. The Supreme Edition of the Realme 12 Pro with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage costs 100 yuan more than the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model of the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. Since the Pro Plus model is a more powerful phone than the Pro version, there has been confusion as to why the company decided to price the less powerful model higher.
Presumably, the listing of Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition could be a placeholder, the exact specifications will be updated in the coming days. It is also rumored to launch in India as the Realme 12 Pro Max, which was briefly spotted on Flipkart’s site in January.
Earlier reports suggested that the Realme 12 Pro Max will feature a 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED (AMOLED) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear will house a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope sensor. The phone will run on Android 14 based Realme UI 5 (Realme UI 5) custom skin.
The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants of the device were claimed to be available in India at Rs 33,999 and Rs 35,999 respectively. Since nothing has been officially announced about the Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition, more details will have to wait for a few days.
