Realme announced yesterday (April 8) that it will soon launch a new smartphone lineup, called the Realme P-series. It is designed exclusively for Indian buyers and the company says that this series will redefine the mid-range segment. Realme has announced that Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro will be the first models under their P-series. The company also revealed the launch date, design, specifications, and price of the series.
Realme P1 Series Launch Date in India
Realme has announced that the Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro will be launched in India on April 15. Also, the micro-sites of the two phones have gone live on Flipkart and Realme’s website to reveal some of the features. Realme P1 will run on MediaTek Dimension 7050 processor Realme P1 Pro, on the other hand, will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
Realme P1 Pro: Specifications, Price and Features
The Realme P1 Pro will feature a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM dimming, TUV certification and a punch hole notch. Realme claims that it will be the only curved display phone with all these features in the Rs 20,000 segment. The company has confirmed that the Realme P1 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The handset will support 45W SuperVOOC charging and rainwater touch display.
It is also reported that the Realme P1 Pro will come in copper color and will feature a dual-rear camera setup inside a large circular camera module at the back. Based on the design and specifications, the handset is believed to be a downgraded version of the Realme 12 Pro.
Realme P1: Price, Specifications and Features
Realme claims that the standard Realme P1 is the first handset in the Rs 15,000 segment to offer a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. A punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera can be seen on top. The handset will support 2,000 nits peak brightness and has received TUV Rheinland’s eye-protection certification. The brand has confirmed that the Realme P1 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, coupled with a 4,356 square millimeter vapor chamber cooling system. It will feature a flat edge design with a 3.5mm audio jack.
