Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G are going to be launched in the Malaysian market on February 29. Of which the company has shared a teaser image for the base model i.e. Realme 12+ 5G on social media. This newly released teaser image confirms what the design of the handset will look like. At the same time, the information that the device will be available in some color variants has also been leaked.
According to the teaser image shared by the company, the Realme 12+ 5G smartphone will offer a flat-edge design. Its back panel will house a large circular camera module. So that the three sensors and the flash light are noticeable. In this regard, its design is very similar to the existing Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. And the teaser image also confirmed that the upcoming model will be launched in wine green color options with beige and vegan leather finishing.
Incidentally, Halfil tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (Sudhanshu Ambhore) revealed the possible specifications of the Realme 12+ 5G smartphone. According to its claims, the device will be powered by MediaTek Dimension 7050 processor. Please note, this same processor is present in Realme 11 Pro (Realme 11 Pro) series, Oppo Reno 11 (Oppo Reno 11), Lava Agni 2 (Lava Agni 2) models.
Besides, the Realme 12+ 5G smartphone will be offered with a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1800×2400 pixel resolution. The device will have a triple rear camera setup on the back. These cameras are likely to be – 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary shooter with OIS, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and 2-megapixel macro lens. Meanwhile, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The Realme 12+ 5G smartphone is likely to be powered by a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which will support 67W Supersonic fast charging. It will be powered by Realme UI 5.0 custom skin based on Android 14. It will measure around 163×75.5×7.9 mm and weigh around 190 grams. The tipster also claims that the upcoming handset will offer up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
