According to a report by Xiaomi, the Poco F7 carries two different model numbers. These are “2412DPC0AG” and “2412DPC0AI”. The first model number is for the Poco F7 model designed for users in the global market, while the second one represents the Indian version. Devices may have differences in system applications due to legal situations in regions. But, the hardware specifications of the Poco F7 phone in both the regions will be similar.

However, the company is currently working on the Poco F7 series, which is still too late to hit the market. The new Poco F7 series is unlikely to be unveiled before May next year So, Poco fans have to wait a long time for the series The Poco F7 and Poco F7 Pro will be launched with the latest Qualcomm processors and are expected to feature significant improvements in cameras.

The Poco F7 is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 phone. On the other hand, the Poco F7 Pro is a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 model. The Poco F7 Pro handset is codenamed “Miro”. The codename comes from the painter Joan Miró. The Redmi K and Poco F Pro series of phones are often codenamed after artists. This tradition continues in new smartphones as well. Meanwhile, the codenames for the Redmi Turbo series are derived from gems. But since the Poco F6 series was launched in May this year, its successor models will also have to wait till May next year.
