The Poco F6 series was finally launched today (May 23) in global markets including India. Although the lineup consists of two models, the standard Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro. However, only the standard model will be available in the Indian market. The newly unveiled Poco handsets are the rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70 Pro phones respectively, which are available in the Chinese market. So the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro models also offer the same OLED display, 50-megapixel primary camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor and 5,000 mAh battery as the aforementioned Redmi handsets. Poco F6 series specifications and features
The Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro feature a fingerprint scanner and a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard model's screen offers 1.5K resolution and 2,400 nits peak brightness, while the Poco F6 Pro comes with 4,000 nits peak brightness and 2K resolution. Displays are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Both phones have flat frames. The standard model has two protruding camera rings, while the Pro model has a rectangular island.
For photography, the rear camera setup of the Poco F6 handset features a dual rear camera setup with an optical image stabilization (OIS)-enabled 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the Poco F6 Pro features a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main lens with OIS, a 2-megapixel macro unit and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Both the standard and Pro models have 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel selfie cameras on the front. Both the phones will have multiple AI features including object erasure.
For power backup, Poco F6 comes with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. On the other hand, the Poco F6 Pro phone has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The standard model will get 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, while the Pro model has a maximum of 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. They also have a heat dissipation system. The Poco F6 series phones come with a 5,000 mAh battery unit. However, the standard variant supports 90W charging while the Pro model has a maximum charging speed of 120W. The Poco F6 series runs on Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin.
Poco F6 Series Price and Availability
In India, Poco F6 is priced at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 31,999. Besides, the top-end 12GB + 512GB option will be available for Rs 33,999. The phone will be available for purchase in the country from May 29 on Flipkart's site. The smartphone will be available in Titanium Glow, Classic Black and Everland Green color options. While the Poco F6 Pro is not available in India, the phone starts at $499 (roughly Rs. 41,560) in the US market.
