OnePlus Nord CE 4 phone in India gets new OS update, fixes overheating issue
OnePlus Nord CE 4 debuted in India on the first day of last month. This mid-range phone has gained huge popularity after its launch as it offers great features. But over a period of time, several users complained that the handset gets very hot even with data transfer or a little social media browsing. That's why OnePlus has released a new software update for their latest phone to fix this issue. It is claimed that this update will improve the camera performance of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 smartphone besides fixing the overheating issue.
New software update released for OnePlus Nord CE 4 smartphone in India
Over the past few days, multiple OnePlus Nord CE 4 smartphone users across regions have been complaining about device overheating, faulty fingerprint sensor and occasional system lag issues. In this case, it is normal for any phone to experience overheating problems during heavy gaming or continuous use. But many complainers have claimed that the OnePlus handset is experiencing overheating issues after doing activities like video calling and media streaming for some time.
In view of all these complaints, the company has released a new update for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 phone. The version number of this new update is OxygenOS 14.0.1.427 and the firmware version number is IN: CPH2613_14.0.1.429(EX01).
Fixed device overheating issue under newly rolled out software update. A new AI eraser tool has also been introduced. OnePlus also claims that the update will improve camera stability and the overall performance of the device.
Currently, the new OS update brought to the OnePlus Nord CE 4 phone is available to a limited number of users. But it will be rolled out to all Indian users in a phased manner. You can manually check if the update has arrived by going to the settings section of the device.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 5G smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display panel, which supports 120Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits peak brightness and HDR10 technology. Also, this touchscreen Aquatouch (Aquatouch) technology is certified. Due to which the screen can be used even with wet hands. It uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This phone additionally supports 8 GB virtual RAM feature. The latest Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 custom skin is pre-loaded as an operating system.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G phone features a dual rear camera setup. These are – 50 Megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS (Size : 1/1.95 inch) and 8 Megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. Meanwhile, a 16-megapixel selfie camera is noticeable on the front of the device. Its cameras are capable of recording 4K video at a rate of 30fps. Again, the RAW HDR algorithm helps to take better pictures. Moreover this handset – comes with dual stereo speaker system and in-display fingerprint scanner. A 5,500mAh capacity battery is provided for power backup, which supports 100W fast charging. It comes with Battery Health Engine to increase charging cycles.
