HMD Global today launched Nokia T10 Kids Edition, an Android tablet in the European and US markets. This kid-friendly tab is actually a modified version of the Nokia T10 tablet that was launched in India in September last year. The Kids Edition offers a polycarbonate pouch. However, the rest of its specifications are the same as the standard model. Notably, the company rolled out the Android 13 update to its Nokia T10 tablets last May. However, the Nokia T10 Kids Edition runs the older Android 12 OS. Let’s know the price and specifications of this new version in detail.
The main attraction of the Nokia T10 Kids Edition is the colorful polycarbonate pouch, which will protect the device if it falls out of hand during use. In addition, the pouch also has a handle to reduce the chance of the tablet accidentally falling to the floor. But without the protective pouch, the device offers the same specifications as the standard Nokia T10.
On the front of the tablet, there is an 8-inch LCD screen with HD resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The device is powered by Unisock T606 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. For photography, the Nokia T10 Kids Edition features an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel selfie camera on the front. For power backup, the tab uses a 5,250mAh battery, which supports 10W fast charging.
In terms of software, Nokia T10 Kids Edition runs on Android 12 operating system. Nokia has confirmed that it will provide monthly security updates for up to three years. The tab has dual stereo speakers and IPX2 rating. Also, Nokia T10 Kids Edition has an in-built Google Kids Space app. It also comes preinstalled with the Google Family Link app, which allows parents to control their child’s tablet usage time.
