Last January, the Oppo Reno 11 series was launched in global markets including India. Since then various information about the successor Oppo Reno 12 series has been circulating online. And now the specifications of a new Oppo handset have been revealed through sources. While the smartphone is not named, the leaked information matches the possible specifications of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro.

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch display, which will retain the same curved screen design as its predecessor, the Reno 11 series. It will also offer 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to use the MediaTek Dimension 9200 chipset and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support.
Oppo Reno 12 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple camera system at the back. The rear camera setup is expected to have a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, along with a 50 megapixel telephoto camera, which will offer 2x optical zoom.
Incidentally, while earlier reports indicated that the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will have 67W charging support, according to the tipster, it will support 80W fast charging. As a result, since the information is preliminary, the authenticity cannot be confirmed right now. Also, the standard Oppo Reno 12 is rumored to have a MediaTek MTK 24M model number processor. It is also expected to offer the same display specifications as the Oppo Reno 12 Pro and 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Reno 12 series may debut in June.
