Oppo K12x debuted in the Chinese market today. This new smartphone is the successor of the Oppo K11X model launched in 2023. It is a budget-range handset. Features include – FHD+ OLED touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm processor, up to 12 GB of RAM, 50 megapixel dual rear camera unit and 5,500 mAh battery. Oppo K12x smartphone specifications
The Oppo K12X smartphone features a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus (2400×1080 pixels) OLED display. This display – 120 hertz refresh rate. Supports 240 Hz touch sampling rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor based on 6nm fabrication node for better performance. The device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum storage of 512GB. However, its storage capacity can be increased up to 1 terabyte via microSD card. ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 is pre-loaded as the operating system.
The Oppo K12x phone has a dual rear camera setup with LED flash for photography and videography. The cameras are a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth lens with f/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera (aperture: F/2.4) is provided for selfies and video calling.
Talking about other features, the new Oppo K12x phone – launched with in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speaker system, hybrid dual SIM support. For connectivity it includes 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB Type-C port. The Oppo K12x is powered by a 5,500 mAh battery, which supports 80W Supersonic fast charging. It measures 162.9×75.6×8.1 mm and weighs 191 grams.

The Oppo K12X smartphone comes with three storage options. Of which the base model with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage has been priced at 1,299 Yuan (about Rs. 15,000). Besides, the higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variants have been priced at 1,499 Yuan (approx. Tk. 17,300) and 1,799 Yuan (approx. Tk. 20,800) respectively.
The device is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale in the Chinese market from May 20. It is not yet known when this phone will debut in India or the global market.
