Oppo is reportedly working on a new K-series phone for the Chinese market. However, it is rumored that the upcoming Oppo PKS110 smartphone, recently approved by China's Radio Certification Platform and spotted on Geekbench's database, could be the upcoming Oppo K12 Plus. The same device has now appeared in the TENAA certification database, revealing its full specifications. Let's take a look at them.
Oppo K12 Plus Specifications (Probable)
According to the Tena listing of the Oppo K12 Plus phone, it has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which offers FullHD+ resolution. Although not mentioned in the listing, it is shown that the screen offers a 120 Hertz refresh rate. It will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
According to the TENAA certification, the Oppo K12 Plus handset will feature an octa-core chip clocked at 2.4GHz. Its Geekbench listing has already revealed that it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The handset is expected to arrive in China in 8GB / 12GB RAM variants and 256GB / 512GB storage options. The device may offer a massive 6,400mAh battery (typical value) with 80W charging support. However, Tena only mentions the battery's rated value of 6,220 mAh.
For photography, the Oppo K12 Plus will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 16 megapixel camera will be placed in front of the phone for selfies and video calls. The phone is expected to run on Android 14 based ColorOS 14 custom skin. The device measures 162.47 x 75.33 x 8.37 mm and weighs 193 grams. The image of the phone does not appear in TENAA's database. However, an Oppo official has already shared an official image of the phone to showcase the rear panel design of the Oppo K12 Plus handset. The phone's design is consistent with other K series phones announced earlier this year.
Please note that the Oppo K12 and Oppo K12x models released in China earlier this year were rebranded as OnePlus Nord CE 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite. However, there is currently no clarity on whether the rebranded version of the Oppo K12 Plus will be launched in the global market.
