Oppo is one of the brands set to launch a new flagship phone in China in October. The brand is expected to unveil the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro smartphones featuring the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. And now a well-known tipster has revealed some important details of the Oppo Find X8 phone on social media. Let's take a look at them.
Oppo Find X8 Phone Specifications (Probable)
An earlier report claimed that the standard Oppo Find X8 will be a smaller device compared to the Pro variant of the Oppo Find X8 series. It is also expected to have a triple camera setup, while the Pro model is said to have a quad-camera system with dual periscope telephoto cameras. Now tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed that the Oppo Find X8 will have an IP68/IP69-rated dust and water-resistant chassis.
He also mentioned that the Oppo Find X8 series will have support for wireless charging. Please note that the current generation Oppo Find X7 phone, which was unveiled last January, has an IP65 rated chassis and will not support wireless charging. DCS added in the comments section of his Weibo (Chinese microblogging platform) post that the Oppo Find X8 model will also offer virtual solid-state buttons and a magnetic accessory ecosystem.

As per earlier reports by DCS, the Oppo Find X8 handset will sport a 6.5-inch or 6.6-inch flat OLED (OLED) panel. The screen is expected to support 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. An optical-type fingerprint sensor may be embedded in the screen.

The rear camera setup of the Oppo Find X8 handset may include a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Oppo Find X8 is expected to run on Android 15 based Color OS (ColorOS 15) custom skin. For power backup, the Oppo Find X8 model may have a 5,600mAh battery with 80W or 100W fast charging support. The phone is expected to come in shades like Black, White and Blue.
