Oppo is currently said to be busy with the launch of the successor model to the Oppo F23, which arrived in India in May last year. A recent report claimed that the smartphone named Oppo F25 could be officially launched in the country next month (March). Adding to the speculation, the launch date of the phone along with some important specifications have been leaked.
Oppo F25 Launch Date (Probable)
Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the Oppo F25 could be launched in India on March 5. Oppo recently launched the Oppo Reno 11F in Thailand. The smartphone is expected to be released in some other Southeast Asian countries in the coming days. The upcoming Oppo F25 in India is believed to be a rebadged version of the Renault 11F.
Oppo F25 Specifications (Probable)
The Oppo F25 will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, offering FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device will likely run Color OS 14 custom skin based on Android 14. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 7050 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM, 8GB virtual RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the rear panel of the Oppo F25 will house a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And the front of the phone may have a 32 megapixel selfie camera. In terms of power backup, the Oppo F25 is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The device may be 7.54 mm slim and weigh 177 grams. It is rumored to come with an IP65-rated chassis, for water and dust resistance. Currently, there is no information available about the price of Oppo F25. However, the predecessor F23 was priced at Rs 24,999 at the time of launch. So it is believed that the F25 may also debut in India with the same price tag.
