Oppo is said to be working on a new smartphone called Oppo A80 under this series. It is believed to be the Oppo A3 Vitality Edition or Energy Edition which is already available in China. It is speculated that Oppo is planning to launch this smartphone in the global market as Oppo A80. So Oppo A80 5G will be a mid-range 5G phone powered by MediaTek Dimension 6300 chipset. A tipster has now revealed the price of the device ahead of its launch. Let's take a look.
Oppo A80 5G Phone Price in Global Market (Probable)
The European price of the Oppo A80 5G has surfaced courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhor. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of this smartphone will be priced at 249 Euros (around Rs. 22,800). Whether this smartphone will be launched in other markets including India, is yet to be confirmed. Also, it may have more options.

The Oppo A80 5G handset will feature a flat edge with a punch-hole display. The smartphone will have a dual-camera setup at the back with an LED ring just below the sensor. The Oppo A80 5G looks similar to the Oppo A3 Vitality Edition. It was spotted in Black and Purple colors, which are already available in China. The phone will also be available in green color option.

The Oppo A80 5G phone will feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display, which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimension 6300 chipset with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. For photography, it will house a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. For selfies, the phone will house an 8-megapixel front camera.
For power backup, the smartphone will house a 5,100mAh battery with 45W SuperVoc fast charging support. It will run ColorOS 14.0.1 custom skin based on Android 14. The Oppo A80 5G phone will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It will have 300 percent ultra volume mode, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
Also, the Oppo A80 5G handset has multiple AI features including AI Eraser, AI LinkBoost and AI Charging Protection. Based on these specifications, it is speculated that the Oppo A80 5G is indeed a rebranded version of the Oppo A3 Vitality Edition.
