OnePlus is expected to launch its next flagship OnePlus 12 later this year. The launch date of the smartphone is yet to be revealed. However, tipster Max Jumbo has recently claimed that it will be launched in China in December. The tipster also confirmed that the company’s first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, will launch on August 29. And now, a well-known tipster has revealed the OnePlus 12’s global launch timeline. Along with information regarding the launch timeline of the upcoming flagship, the launch timeline of several other OnePlus smartphones has also surfaced.
OnePlus Open and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro are likely to launch next month
Tipster Yogesh Brar said in a tweet that the OnePlus 12 will be launched in the global market in February next year The device may debut in China in December this year. The global launch timeline of OnePlus 12 coincides with the launch of the current generation OnePlus 11. However, it was launched in China in January this year. Apart from information about the launch timeline of OnePlus’ number series flagship, Yogesh Brar also mentioned in his tweet that the OnePlus S2 Pro and OnePlus Open will launch in August.
Talking about the specifications of the OnePlus 12, it is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is said to be launched at the Qualcomm Summit in October. The handset may come with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage.
In terms of photography, the OnePlus 12 will feature a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module may include a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel omnivision sensor. For selfies and video calls, the front of the phone will likely house a 32-megapixel camera. For power backup, the OnePlus 12 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which can support 100W fast charging.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Fold/Open may feature a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device’s cover display is likely to be 6.3 inches, which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is expected to be paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For photography, the device will feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera sensor. And for power backup, the OnePlus Open will come with a 4,800mAh battery that can support 67W fast charging.
