OnePlus launched their flagship range of smartphones at the beginning of the year. Currently the company is focusing on relatively affordable phones. OnePlus has announced the launch date of its latest mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 4. It is slated to launch in India on April 1 as the successor to the Nord CE 3. Before that, a microsite went live on Amazon and OnePlus’ website to reveal the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 and some important information.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 design and specifications
According to the microsite published by the company, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 will feature a slightly different design language from its predecessor. The back of the phone will have a pill-shaped camera module, housing a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. The device will also have an IR blaster on the top. The OnePlus Nord CE4 will be available in two color options – one is Dark Chrome, a classic OnePlus dark color shade with subtle gradients, and the other is Celadon Marble, which will offer a textured design and vibrant aesthetic.
It is also reported that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Built on a 4 nanometer process, the chipset features an Adreno 720 GPU with one Cryo Prime core, three performance cores and four efficiency cores. For photography, the Nord CE 4 will have a dual-rear camera setup. An earlier report said that the camera system of this OnePlus smartphone will house a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel lens, possibly for ultra-wide angle shots. Also, the phone will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Besides, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 may have a 6.7-inch display on the front. The predecessor Nord CE 3 has an AMOLED panel, so it is reasonable to expect the Nord CE 4 to feature an OLED display. There is currently no further information available about the OnePlus Nord CE 4. But expect to know more about it soon.
