OnePlus 13 will offer triple 50MP cameras, from ultrawide to periscope zoom

The OnePlus 13 is slated to launch later this year with Qualcomm's upcoming processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Various information about this phone has already started leaking online. Now the details of its camera sensor have come out.

OnePlus is expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip-equipped OnePlus Ace 3 Pro in China next month (July). After its official launch, the company is expected to unveil its next-generation flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in October next year. A Chinese tipster recently claimed that the upcoming OnePlus flagship will have three 50-megapixel cameras. And now, he has revealed the details of the OnePlus 13 model's camera sensors on social media.

OnePlus 13 Camera Specifications (Probable)

Digital Chat Station (DCS) reported in its recent Weibo (Chinese microblogging platform) post that the rear camera setup of the OnePlus 13 handset will feature a Sony LYT-808 primary camera, a Sony IMX882 camera for ultrawide shots and another IMX882 camera for periscope zoom. Each sensor will offer 50 megapixel resolution. Like the OnePlus 12, the successor model will also come with Hasselblad camera optimization.

In comparison, the rear camera setup of the current generation OnePlus 12 phone has the same LYT-808 main camera. It is accompanied by a 48-megapixel Sony IMX851 ultrawide camera and a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.

According to other reports, the OnePlus 13 phone will feature a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED curved-edge display, which will offer 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will power this device.

The highest variant of the OnePlus 13 handset is rumored to offer 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. For power backup, it may offer a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. However, the device may lack wireless charging support.
