OnePlus 13 smartphone's possible India launch timeline, price and feature details are out
OnePlus 12 was launched on January 12th. Since then various information about its successor i.e. OnePlus 13 series has been leaking. Information regarding the processor variant of the standard model of the upcoming lineup has surfaced in Halfil. Now again information regarding its launch date, price and design has been leaked online.
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming OnePlus 13 model will come with better performance, battery life and camera department than its predecessor. It may also support satellite connectivity. This phone is likely to be launched in India in early 2025.
Leakster Sanju Choudhary shared a post on X platform in Halfil. According to that post, the OnePlus 13 smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor which is slated to launch in October. Its camera department may get a major upgrade over its predecessor. The device is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup. In this camera module – more advanced periscopic lens and a telephoto macro shooter will be added.
Sanju Chowdhury also claimed that the OnePlus 13 phone will feature a 2K micro quad curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the post did not mention the display size of the device. In this regard, Digital Chat Station said in its latest post that the upcoming flagship handset will offer a touchscreen with similar display size and features to the existing OnePlus 12. That means the successor could have a 6.8-inch LTPO screen, which will support variable refresh rate.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13 phone will feature a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It will come with good IP rating. For power backup, it will be provided with a powerful silicon anode battery, which can support 100W wired charging and wireless charging technology.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has claimed that the upcoming device will offer a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. He also said that the OnePlus 13 phone will come with a different design and rear camera setup compared to the OnePlus 12.
A render image was recently leaked online. Where the design of the back panel of OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R phone will be seen. For example, the circular camera island on the OnePlus 13 phone is noticeable. Again the OnePlus 13R variant is seen with a rectangular camera module in the render.
OnePlus 13 Smartphone Price in India (Probable)
On January 12, the OnePlus 12 smartphone was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 64,999. As a result, the base variant of the successor OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced below Rs 67,000. However, the price of the device may be slightly higher due to coming with multiple upgrades and new features.
