OnePlus is expected to launch its next generation flagship phone OnePlus 12 by December this year. It will be the successor to the OnePlus 11 that debuted in January this year. Although the official launch of the handset is still several months away, various information about the device has already started leaking online. And now a reliable tipster has revealed some renders of the OnePlus 12, which reveal its design.
The leak is the render of the OnePlus 12
Leaked renders by reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka Onlix) showcased the OnePlus 12’s design from all angles. Overall, it will retain almost the same design as its predecessor except for minor changes. The device will house the alert slider and power button on the right side and the volume rocker keys on the left side. It will come with slim form factor. The renders show the OnePlus 12 in a glossy black and the brand’s iconic sandstone finish.
Notably, OnePlus 12 will have ultra-slim bezels on the display. The OnePlus 11 had a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera on the top left side of the display, while the upcoming model will house the front camera in a smaller centered punch-hole cutout. A speaker grill and a USB-C port can be seen on the bottom edge of the device.
Also, the OnePlus 12 will have the same half-pill-shaped island on the back, which will have a glossy finish. The island extends slightly from the side frame. It will feature a circular module with a tweaked sensor arrangement, featuring two lenses on top and a periscope lens on the bottom, as previously reported. The periscope lens will be attached to a distinctive black strip. The company will move the LED flash out of the circular module and place it in the upper left corner of the pill-shaped island.
It should be noted that earlier some sources said that the OnePlus 12 phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It will support 150 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. It is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
