OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 12 as the successor to the flagship OnePlus 11 launched earlier this year. Renders of the smartphone were recently leaked online, revealing that it will feature a square-shaped camera module with a triple-camera setup. The front of the handset is said to have a punch-hole cutout, which will house the selfie camera. The official launch date of the device is yet to be revealed, but now the OnePlus 12 launch timeline has surfaced courtesy of a tipster. Let’s take a look.
OnePlus 12 may be launched in the global market next year
on Twitter Max Jambor As per the claim, the OnePlus 12 flagship will be launched in China in December. So it is expected that the smartphone will enter the global market early next year. The Chinese smartphone maker launched the OnePlus 11, the predecessor of the OnePlus 12, in China in January this year. And last February the device was unveiled in the international market.
Talking about the specifications, the OnePlus 12 is said to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is expected to be launched at the Qualcomm Summit in October. The OnePlus 12 can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage.
For photography, the rear panel of the OnePlus 12 will feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel omnivision sensor with a periscope lens. And a 32 megapixel selfie camera can be seen in front of the phone. For power backup, the OnePlus 12 will come with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which can support 100W fast charging.
