Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro smartphones are going to be launched in China on May 27. A recent report revealed that the two phones will have different chipsets. And now, a source has revealed details about both the handsets on social media. Ahead of the launch next week, let's take a look at what the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro have to offer.
Honor 200 Pro: Specifications (Probable)
According to a post on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, the Honor 200 Pro model features a 7.68-inch display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, 4,000 nits peak brightness and an in-screen fingerprint. There will be an OLED panel. It will run on Android 14 operating system, with a layer of Magic OS 8.0 custom skin on top.
For photography, the Honor 200 Pro will house a dual selfie camera setup comprising of a 50-megapixel primary camera on the front of the phone. But while no information about its secondary camera is available yet, it will likely offer the same 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit as last year's Honor 100 Pro model. And the rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) enabled, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX856 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and OIS support.
Meanwhile, the Honor 200 Pro handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and will feature a large 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Other notable features of the Honor 200 Pro phone include 66W fast wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, near field communication (NFC), an IR blaster, dual speakers, a C1+ RF C1+ RF enhancement chip and IP55 rating. . The device will weigh 199 grams. It will be sold in attractive shades like Sky Blue, Coral Pink, Moon Shadow White and Ink Black.
Honor 200 Specifications (Probable)
The standard Honor 200 model will have a 6.7-inch quad-curve OLED (OLED) panel, offering the same features as the Pro variant. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset will power the phone's advanced version. For photography, the Honor 200 model's rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX906 lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. A 50-megapixel camera will be present on the front of the phone. The rest of its specifications will be the same as the Pro model.
However, the Honor 200 device will lack features like wireless charging, reverse charging, RF chip and IP rating. It will weigh 187 grams and come in the same shade as the Pro variant. Both the phones are expected to differ in the RAM and storage department.
