Nokia G42 5G and G310 5G Launching Soon with Similar Features and Gorilla Glass Protection

Nokia is currently said to be working on a mid-range phone called the Nokia G42. The device was recently spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking site. And now, the upcoming phone has appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG authority. Apart from this, another new Nokia phone with the name Nokia G310 5G has also received Bluetooth SIG certification. Let’s find out what information has surfaced so far about these handsets.

Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G got Bluetooth SIG certification

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s certification confirmed that Nokia phones with model numbers TA-1573 and TA-1591 / TA-1581 will debut in the market as Nokia G310 5G and Nokia G42 5G. The Bluetooth listing of both the phones reveals that they will support Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. Also there the specifications of the handsets have been revealed.

According to the Bluetooth SIG database, the Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G will feature a 6.5-inch LCD panel, with a V-shaped notch on top. The screen will support HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90 Hz refresh rate and 560 nits peak brightness. The screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Both Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G smartphones will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset and will run on Android 13 operating system.

Earlier, the Nokia G42 5G was spotted with 4GB of RAM on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. Other reports claim that it will also come in a 6GB RAM variant and offer up to 128GB of storage. Currently, there is no information available about the phone’s camera or battery capacity. While the Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G have the same display and chipset, it is not yet known whether the other specifications will be the same or different.
