Motorola is going to launch one of their latest mid-range smartphones today. The upcoming model will be called Moto Edge 50 Pro. It is also reported that the handset is going to be available for purchase in India for the first time through e-commerce platform Flipkart today, April 3rd at 12 AM.
Several teaser posters were released in Halfil by the concerned company. Which confirmed several key features of the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone. As reported, this model will be launched with punch-hole (centered) style curved display, powerful battery with 50W wireless and 125W wired charging support, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and AI based rear camera system. It is also claimed to be IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. Besides, several features have come forward from the dedicated microsite already created by Flipkart for the phone. Even its price is known.

This upcoming smartphone of the Motorola brand is expected to be launched under the mid-flagship segment in the country. In fact recently tipster Paras Guglani shared a post on social media. Whereas he claims that the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant of the handset will be priced at 864 Euros, which is roughly equivalent to Rs 44,999.
Now let’s talk about availability. The company itself has confirmed that the device will be available in the country through e-commerce portal Flipkart.

It is reported that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will come in a total of three color options, namely – Black, White and Purple. It will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and HDR10+ technology. Again, this phone will be provided with SGS Eye Protection technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the eyes and screen of the users respectively. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset will be there for better performance and multitasking. The company might offer three years of OS updates with this latest smartphone.
The upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro phone will feature a triple rear camera system with AI smart features for photography and videography. These cameras could be – 50-megapixel primary sensor + 13-megapixel ultra-wide / macro shooter + a telephoto lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 30x hybrid zoom. Besides, there will be a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus for selfies and video calling.
