Motorola has launched a new smartphone called Moto G64 5G in India today i.e. 16th April. It is the successor to the Moto G54 5G model that arrived last year. Its price starts from Rs 14,999 in the country. Talking about the specifications, this phone will get a 120 Hz refresh rate FHD+ IPS LCD display, MediaTek processor, up to 256 GB of storage, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit, and support for nine 5G bands. Moto G64 5G Smartphone Price and Availability in India
The Moto G64 5G smartphone has been launched in the country with a total of two storage variants. Out of which 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999. Again, the higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option is priced at Tk 16,999. It will go on sale in India for the first time from April 23 through e-commerce site Flipkart. It comes in – Ice Lilac, Pearl Blue and Mint Green color options
Now let’s talk about the launch offer. A discount of Rs 1,000 will be given to Moto G64 5G buyers who make full payment using HDFC Bank credit card. After which the device can be purchased by spending a minimum of Rs 13,999. Similarly, a discount of Rs 1,100 can be enjoyed on EMI transactions through HDFC Bank Credit Card or Debit Card. To take advantage of this offer, the 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants can be purchased for Rs 13,899 and Rs 15,899 respectively. Alternatively you can opt for the second offer, which is a flat Rs 1,000 bump-up exchange bonus.
Moto G64 5G smartphone specifications
The Motorola Moto G64 5G phone features a 6.5-inch Full HD Plus IPS LCD display panel with Gorilla Glass protection. The display design is punch-hole style and supports 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. MediaTek Dimension 7025 processor is there to provide better performance. It offers up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. However, microSD card can be used for additional storage. This Motorola handset runs on the latest Android 14 based MyUX custom skin. From the company’s side, it also promises to provide Android 15 update and three years of security patch updates.
The Moto G64 5G phone has a rectangular camera module on the back, which includes dual sensors. These cameras are – a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, which also doubles as a macro shooter. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is present on the front of the device.
Talking about other features, this device supports nine 5G bands. It comes with a dual stereo speaker system supported by Dolby Atmos for better sound delivery. Connectivity options include – dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of power backup, the Moto G64 5G smartphone has a 6,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 33W fast charging. The IP52 rated handset is 8.89 mm thick and weighs 192 grams.
