Motorola is reportedly going to launch the Moto G Power (2024) soon as the successor to the Moto G Power (2023) that was launched in April last year. Recently several information about this new model of Moto G-series has been leaked online through various reports. And now, the Moto G Power (2024) has added to the speculation by appearing on important certification platforms like Bluetooth SIG. Let’s see what else is known about the phone so far.
Moto G Power (2024) received approval from Bluetooth SIG
The new Moto G Power (2024) phone has been listed in the Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s database with the model number XT2415-1. Although this certification did not reveal any details regarding the specifications and features of the phone, it confirmed support for Bluetooth 5.3 version on the device. Notably, the model numbers – XT2415-5, XT2415V and XT2415-3 – are also listed with this smartphone on the Bluetooth SIG platform. These models are believed to be other regional versions of the Moto G Power (2024).
Last week, the Moto G Power (2024) appeared on benchmarking platform, GeekBench, which showcased the phone’s benchmark performance as well as some of its features. The database indicates that the Moto G Power (2024) will be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 7020 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM. It is also mentioned that it will run on Android 14 operating system. An official-looking render of the Moto phone was also leaked last February, which revealed color options and some features.
Note that these renders show the Moto G Power (2024) in Orchid Tint and Outer Space color options. Also, according to an earlier report, this new Motorola handset may feature a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel, which will support HD+ resolution. This model is expected to support 67W wired fast charging and be 8.5mm slim.
