The much-awaited Google Pixel 9 series is expected to be launched at an event on August 13. The new Pixel series is rumored to include the standard Google Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro models this year, as well as the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL model, which is going to be a bigger phone. Google is also expected to launch the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold at the event. A new report has now revealed European pricing and color options for the entire Pixel lineup.
Google Pixel 9 series prices and pricing revealed
The European price of the Google Pixel 9 series has been revealed by French publication DealAbs in their latest report. The report reveals the full price of all storage variants of the entire Pixel 9 lineup, including the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Note that this is a European price so it will be quite different for other markets.
Google Pixel 9
The Google Pixel 9 will be launched in two storage variants – 128GB RAM and 256GB – priced at 899 Euros (roughly Rs. 82,000) and 999 Euros (roughly Rs. 91,120). It will come in four color options – Obsidian (Volcanic Black), Porcelain (Porcelain), Cosmo and Mojito.
Google Pixel 9 Pro
The Google Pixel 9 Pro 128 variant will be priced at EUR 1,099 (roughly Rs. 1,00,240) and will be available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel (Sage Green) and Pink colors. The 256GB version will be priced at EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,09,360) and this variant will also be available in four colors. However, the 512GB model of the Google Pixel 9 Pro phone will be available only in Obsidian and Hazel colors and will be priced at 1,329 Euros (roughly Rs. 1,21,215).
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
The base model of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL phone with 128GB storage will be priced at 1,199 Euros (roughly Rs. 1,09,360) and will be available in Obsidian, Porcelain and Hazel shades. The 256GB storage variant is priced at 1,299 Euros (roughly Rs. 1,18,500) and will be launched in four colors including Pink. The 512GB variant will come in Obsidian, Porcelain and Haze colors and is priced at 1,429 Euros (roughly Rs. 1,30,350).
The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will be launched in a 1TB version and is priced at 1,689 Euros (roughly Rs. 1,54,050). The report also states that the trade name of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is yet to be confirmed, so the phone may launch under a different name.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone will be launched in 256 GB and 512 GB variants which may be priced at 1,889 Euros (approx. Rs. 1,73,200) and 2,029 Euros (approx. Rs. 1,85,060), respectively. It will come in two color options – Obsidian and Porcelain. The trade name of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is yet to be confirmed.
This is assuming that Google has decided to increase the prices for certain models. The Google Pixel 9 model costs about 40 euros more than the 128GB and 255GB storage models of the Pixel 8. Again, the 256GB and 512GB models of the Google Pixel 9 Pro are also about 40 euros more than the Google Pixel 8 Pro phone. The Google Pixel 8 series in India created a stir for being expensive, and now this report suggests that the Pixel phones will be even more expensive this year.
