itel has unveiled two new smartphones under its Power or P-lineup in India. These come as – itel P55 and itel P55+. Itel P55 series price in India starts from just Rs 7,499. However, if you can take advantage of the launch offer, the devices can be purchased for less than Rs 7,000. Talking about specifications, itel P55 and itel P55+ models offer almost identical features. However, the difference in storage, RAM and charging capacity will be noticeable. In this regard, the higher-end itel P55+ model is the first phone under the company’s entry-level segment to support 45W fast charging. Let’s know the price, availability and specifications of itel P55+ and P55 phones.
It has been confirmed by the company that another new smartphone named itel P55T under this same series will be announced later this month. It will be the first smartphone to be launched globally with Android 14 Go Edition operating system.
itel P55+ and P55 phone price and availability in India
Itel P55 series base model has been launched in the country with two and higher variants with one storage configuration. The company has announced that as part of the launch offer, a flat Rs 500 discount will be offered with each variant.
The 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option of itel P55 phone is priced at Tk 7,499 (Tk 6,999 after discount) and the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option is priced at Tk 9,499 (Tk 8,999 after discount). On the other hand, the iTel P55+ model comes with a single variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Which is priced at Tk 9,999 (Tk 9,499 after discount).
Aspirants will be able to purchase both models of the series from the company’s website and e-commerce platform Amazon from February 13. The standard model of the series – available in Moonlit Black, Aurora Blue and Brilliant Gold color options. And the higher variant comes in – Royal Green (with vegan leather finishing) and Meteor Black color options. However, itel India’s website has listed another color option called ‘Meteor Purple’ for the itel P55+ phone, which is not available at the moment. But maybe it will be introduced later.
itel P55+ and P55 smartphone specifications
The iTel P55 series features a 6.6-inch HD Plus punch-hole (centered) display panel, which supports 90 Hz refresh rate and dynamic bar notification technology. Both the devices use Unisock T606 processor and Mali G57 GPU for better performance. This series comes pre-loaded with Android 13 Go Edition operating system. Talking about storage, the standard model of the series i.e. itel P55 is available with 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. On the other hand, itel P55+ phone will get 8 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. Both handsets support extended RAM feature up to 8 GB.
The itel P55+ and P55 phones feature a dual rear camera setup with LED flash. These cameras are – a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an AI lens. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is provided on the front of the device. The series comes with a powerful battery of 5,000 mAh capacity. However, the charging capacity of the two handsets is different. Like the itel P55 phone supports 18W fast charging. The itel P55+, on the other hand, offers the benefit of 45W Super Charge technology, which can charge up to 70% in just 30 minutes and fully charge the device in 72 minutes. A 3.5mm audio jack is available for connectivity. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature are also available for security.
