Throughout the month of April, various brands are going to launch attractive mid-range smartphones in the market. The tour begins with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Several more phones will be launched in China soon, including the Redmi Turbo 3, Realme GT Neo 6 SE and Oppo A3 Pro. These will hit the market by the end of this week. And now it is known that Vivo’s subsidiary brand iQOO is gearing up to launch a mid-range smartphone called iQOO Z9 Turbo soon. A company official himself confirmed the existence of the phone.
iQOO Z9 Turbo may come to the market this month
Zeng Ching, product manager of ICO Z-series, said in a recent Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post that “this month is going to be lively” for their brand. What’s worth noting here is that he introduced this post with the iCoa Z9 Turbo, confirming the device’s name for the first time. Looking at this teaser, it is speculated that the iCo Z9 Turbo smartphone will make its debut in April itself.
Although there is no confirmation from the company, the iCo Z9 Turbo is said to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset. On the other hand, the Redmi Turbo 3 handset is also confirmed to be launched with the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chip, which means that the upcoming Redmi phone will be a direct competitor to the iCo Z9 Turbo.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED (OLED) display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 2,160Hz PWM dimming. For security, it may include an in-built fingerprint sensor.
Notably, the iCo phone is rumored to debut in two RAM configurations – 12GB and 16GB and both models will be paired with 512GB of storage. For power backup, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to use a massive 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. For photography, it may have a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
