The design of the iPhone SE 4 came to the fore with a dummy case unit
Several sources have previously revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a similar design to the iPhone 14 series. The device was spotted in computer aided design (CAD)-based leaked renders last month. The leaked dummy case unit revealed that the design of the iPhone SE 4 will indeed be similar to the iPhone 14. It features a cutout for the volume rocker and mute switch on the left side of the frame. The phone’s power button is said to be located on the right edge. According to the leaked case, the rear panel of the iPhone SE 4 will have a horizontal pill-shaped camera module housing the single camera sensor. It also has a cutout for the LED flash unit.
The images also reveal that the iPhone SE 4 will have a notched display on the front. The notch houses the front camera and facial recognition sensor. The leaked case image potentially confirms that Apple will remove the Touch ID sensor from the next-gen SE models.
According to reports, the iPhone SE 4 is said to be launched next year, i.e. 2025. However, with protective phone case makers already starting production for the smartphone, it is now believed that it could hit the market this year itself.
