Apple today launched the iPhone 16 series in their biggest launch event of the year. The new lineup includes four models – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The devices are equipped with camera control buttons, which can be used to take better pictures. There is also Apple Intelligence feature. In the previous report we elaborated on the base models. Here I will tell the price and specifications of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
iPhone 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max price and sale date
The 128GB storage variant of the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999 (roughly Rs. 83,800) and the 256GB storage variant of the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at $1199 or roughly Rs. 1,00,00. The Pro models come in 4 colors – Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium and Desert Titanium.
Pre-orders for iPhone 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max have started today. And their sale will start from September 20.
Features and specifications of iPhone 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max
The iPhone 16 Pro model has a larger 6.3-inch display and the iPhone 16 Pro Max model has a 6.9-inch display. They come with a Grade-5 titanium build. Ceramic shield protection has been used to protect the display and this display will support Always On Display and 120 Hz promotion. And the two models come with the slimmest bezels.
For performance, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are powered by A3 Pro chipset based on 3 nanometer process with iOS 18 operating system, this processor consists of 16 core neural engine, 6 core CPU and 6 core GPU. The A18 Pro processor will deliver 15 percent faster CPU and 20 percent faster GPU performance compared to the A17 Pro processor.

Again, the iPhone 16 Pro series has also been given benefits of battery optimization and cooling system. The iPhone 16 Pro Max model is claimed to feature the largest battery in iPhone history so far. An earlier report suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 3355 mAh battery, while the Pro Max will come with a 4676 mAh battery.
Talking about the camera, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models have a triple rear camera setup. These cameras are a 48-megapixel fusion sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera sensor with 5x zoom. The latter sensor offers a zoom of up to 120mm. And the primary camera will take ProRAW and HEIF photos.
