Infinix is stepping into the world of foldable smartphones. They are bringing a clamshell style folding phone called Infinix Zero Flip. Also, the company is coming up with a simple form factor phone. Named Infinix Zero 40 5G, the Infinix Zero Flip has appeared on NBTC, TUV, Google Play Console, FCC, and BIS platforms in India. Several details about the two phones have surfaced from these certification sites.
As reported by TheTechOutlook, the Infinix Zero Flip has been spotted by the Bureau of Indian Standards or BIS in India with model number X6962. The Infinix Zero 40 5G phone has also been spotted there with the model number X6861. The presence of the two devices on the BIS site points to an early launch in India.
Some specifications have emerged from the Infinix Zero Flip's FCC and TUV certification. It will have 3,140 mAh and 1,180 mAh dual cells, which may be marketed as 4,590 mAh combined capacity. The device will support 70W fast charging. The phone will have at least 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is likely to be the cheapest flip-fold phone in the country.
On the other hand, Google Play Console has revealed that the Infinix Zero 40 5G phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor, coupled with a Mali G610 GPU. Besides, this smartphone will have a Full-HD+ (1080×2436) resolution display with 480 DPI and a 4,900 mAh battery.
