Infinix recently unveiled the Racing Edition of the Infinix Note 40 series. The brand is currently said to be working on a new model of the lineup, which will consist of 4G and 5G versions of the standard, Pro variant and a Pro+ 5G variant. The upcoming phone is expected to be the Infinix Note 40S. It has now been spotted on the Google Play Console certification website. The list revealed the key features of the device.

Infinix Note 40S with model number X6850B is listed on Google Play Console website. The render of the smartphone published on the database showed a curved display with a centered punch-hole cutout. Its screen will offer a display resolution of 1,080 x 2,436 pixels and a screen density of 480 dpi.
The Google Play Console listing reveals that the Infinix Note 40S will be powered by the MediaTek MT6789 processor. This chipset has two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. And for graphics it is paired with Mali G57 GPU. These details indicate that the Infinix Note 40S will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The device is also said to offer 8GB of RAM, but other variants may also hit the market at launch. In terms of software, it will run on Android 14 operating system. Apart from this, no more information about the Infinix Note 40S is known from the certification website. However, more details about the phone are expected soon through other certifications and online reports.
Note that Infinix recently launched the Infinix Note 40 5G phone in the Philippine market. It features a 6.78-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The device runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired and 15W wireless charging support. The Infinix Note 40 5G phone has a rectangular camera module, consisting of a 108-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel lenses with an 'Active Halo' LED light.
