Last year, the Infinix Note 30 series launched All-Round Fast Charge technology, which brought new charging technologies like up to 68W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and bypass charging. This allows the phone’s motherboard to bypass the battery and send power directly to the charger.
In the upcoming Infinix Note 40 series, the company is going to further enhance the charging capabilities by adding the all-round Fast Charge 2.0 technology. The new technology will bring faster charging speeds for both wired and wireless charging methods. Also, the Note 40 series is said to unveil the all-new wireless MagCharge technology. Incidentally, Mag Charging is a wireless magnetic charging technology that uses magnets to hold the phone in perfect position. This charging system ensures efficient power transfer and increases user convenience.
The leaked image of the retail box of the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G has revealed that it can support at least 100W wired charging. Last year’s Infinix Note 30 VIP smartphone offered 50W wireless charging. Note 40 Pro+ 5G will support the new MagCharge wireless charging technology, but it is not possible to know the exact speed of wireless charging by looking at the picture.
However, the image suggests that the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G may come with a curved-edge AMOLED (AMOLED) display and Near Field Communication (NFC) support. But, other details of the device are still unknown. The phone is expected to hit the market soon, as it has already been spotted in the databases of important certification platforms like Indonesia’s SDPPI and Europe’s EEC with the X6851B model number.
