Redmi launches their cheapest smartphones under the A-series. Last April, the company launched the new Redmi 12C. It enters the market as a budget phone with all the required features, available in the country at Rs 8,999. Despite the low price, the Redmi 12C has a large HD+ display, 50-megapixel dual camera and a 5,000mAh battery. And now the Redmi 12C is available with an additional discount of up to Rs 1,000, making it even more affordable. How to get this discount, let’s know.
1,000 off on Redmi 12C for a limited time
Redmi 12 price in India starts from Rs 8,999. However, Xiaomi recently announced a discount of Rs 200 to its customers, reducing its price to Rs 8,799. But it doesn’t end here, the company has now announced a special offer to reduce the price by another Rs 800 for a limited time. But note that this offer is only applicable for the base 4GB variant.
To avail this discount, the device must be purchased on Amazon using ICICI Bank Credit Card, HDFC Bank Credit Card or Debit Card on EMI option. Which will bring down the effective price to Rs 7,999. Amazon has mentioned June 15 as the end date for the credit/debit card offer, but no specific date has been revealed for the UPI offer.
Notably, the Redmi 12C has a 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel, which offers an HD+ resolution of 1,650 x 720 pixels. Also, the panel supports 20.6:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits peak brightness. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G86 chipset, coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. For power backup, the Redmi 12C uses a 5,000mAh battery with standard 10W charging support.
