Honor has launched several new models in the market this July. They announced the launch of the Honor 90 and Honor Pad X9 tablets in Europe the day after and the Honor X50 smartphone in China a day before that. Next week the brand is said to be unveiling several more interesting products along with the Honor Magic V2 foldable handset. Earlier, a new smartphone of the company was spotted on the TDRA website. It is likely to be launched in the international market soon as the new cheap mobile of the Honor X6a series.
Honor X6a is coming soon
Most of Honor’s X-series models are value-for-money mid-rangers, with the Honor X50 being the latest phone. However, this lineup also includes budget models packed with advanced specifications, such as – Honor X7A and Honor X8A. These phones may soon be joined by a new device called the Honor X6A It has now been spotted on the TDRA website with the model number WDY-LX2, indicating a global launch soon.
Notably, Honor’s naming scheme is quite different from other brands. In general, smartphone manufacturers use a sequential naming system, where each new model has a higher number in its name than the previous model. For example, the X Phone 2 will be the successor of the X Phone 1 But in the case of honor it is the other way around The company has already launched the Honor X7A and is now working on the Honor X6A.
However, no specifications of the Honor X6a are known yet. This budget smartphone is going to be the successor of Honor X7a, which is powered by MediaTek Helio G37 processor. Also, the predecessor model has a 6.75-inch TFT LCD display and a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor. The device comes with a 5,330 and 6,000 mAh battery depending on the region.
