Honor usually launches their number series smartphones in China twice every year. The company came up with the Honor 300 lineup in December 2024. The series comes with three models namely Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ultra. Meanwhile, the Honor 400 series is scheduled to be launched in the first half of this year. According to sources, Honor's upcoming phone will have a huge battery.
Honor 400 series battery capacity revealed
A Chinese tipster has claimed in his social media post that Honor has adopted a bigger battery strategy for the smartphones that will be launched in 2025. The tipster hints at the upcoming Honor 400 lineup, which will feature at least a 7,000mAh battery and a metal frame for enhanced durability. Besides, rest of the specifications remain unknown.
The launch timeline is still unclear, but the Honor 400 series is expected to hit the market by May. It may have three models – Honor 400, 400 Pro and 400 Ultra. Last year's Honor 300 Ultra and 300 Pro phones both had Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors. Whereas the base model had the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Speculation, the upcoming Honor 400 Pro and 400 Ultra may feature the Snapdragon 8s Elite chip.
Recently, a listing on benchmark platform Geekbench revealed the configuration of the Snapdragon 8S Elite chip. This octa-core chipset will run at clock speeds of one core of 3.21 GHz, three cores of 3.01 GHz, two cores of 2.80 GHz, and two cores of 2.02 GHz. There will be Adreno GPU for graphics.
