Google mistakenly revealed the design of the new phone, the features were already leaked

Google is currently gearing up to launch the Google Pixel 8a as the new mid-range phone in its Pixel series. In the past few months, several information about this phone have come to light. But this time it was seen in an advertisement of Google’s own Fi Wireless (Fi Wireless) carrier service by surprising everyone. You guessed it, the official design of Google Pixel 8a has also been revealed from there.

Google Pixel 8a appeared in the company’s own advertisement

The ad shows the Google Pixel 8a in both blue and off-white color options with a dual-camera setup. But how to be sure it’s the new Pixel 8A and not the regular Pixel 8? There are a few ways to understand this. First, the standard Pixel 8 isn’t available in blue or white. Also, the phone shown in the ad doesn’t have a microphone near the camera like the Pixel 8. So, it’s pretty clear that it’s the upcoming Pixel 8A. But whether the inclusion of the Pixel 8A in Google’s Fi Wireless ad was intentional, or a mistake, remains unclear.

Google Pixel 8a

No specifications of the Google Pixel 8A were revealed in the Google Fi ad. It only talks about Google Fi’s pricing plan. Already, some information about the specifications of the Pixel 8A has already leaked online. It is rumored to feature a 6.1-inch FullHD+ OLED display with a boosted refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone is expected to come with the same Tensor G3 chipset as the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

In terms of cameras, the rear panel of the Google Pixel 8a is likely to house the same 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 13-megapixel ultrawide lens as the Pixel 7a, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Pixel 8a is also said to have better fast charge support. It is also rumored to support 27W charging, which is quite a significant upgrade from the 18W of the previous generation Pixel A-branded phone.
