Oppo announced at a press event in London yesterday (June 5) that they will bring generative artificial intelligent (AI) features to over 50 million users worldwide by the end of this year. According to a report, the company has also revealed information about the global launch of the Oppo Reno 12 series and the next generation Oppo Find X series of smartphones.
Oppo Reno 12 series will be launched in the global market in June
According to a report by GSMArena, the Oppo Reno 12 series of smartphones will debut in the global market by the end of this month. Last month the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro models debuted in China with MediaTek Dimension 8250 and Dimension 9200 Plus chipsets respectively. However, it is not clear whether the Chinese versions of the Renault 12 series will be launched in the global market.
The company showcased a teaser image of the upcoming phone during the event. Although the company hasn't revealed anything more about the Oppo Reno 12 series, the image suggests that a standard model and a Pro model of the series could be launched in the global market.
Oppo Find X series is about to return to the global market
Oppo unveiled the flagship Find X5 series of smartphones in February 2022. While the brand has since launched the Oppo X6 and Oppo X7 series in China, it hasn't unveiled any devices from these lineups in markets outside of China.
According to recent reports, Oppo Find X8 with the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset will make its debut in China in October this year. And the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor-powered Oppo Find X8 Ultra model can potentially be launched in the first quarter of next year. Now the brand has confirmed that the Oppo Find X series will return to the global market, but it is not yet known if both the Oppo X8 and Oppo X8 Ultra will be available internationally.
