Realme announced their latest flagship smartphone Realme GT 3 240W during the ‘Mobile World Congress’ (MWC 2023) event held last February. Although four months have passed since the announcement, the company is yet to launch the new handset in the global market. But now, popular tipster Paras Guglani has shared a post on Twitter claiming that the Realme GT 3 240W will be launched globally on June 14th. The tweet shared by the tipster also featured an image, which appears to be the phone’s launch poster. This film also has a launch date of June 14.
Notably, the Reame GT 3 240W will come as the company’s latest flagship model, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. And as the name suggests, this upcoming Realme model will support 240W SuperVOOC fast charging. The poster shared by the tipster also reads “Next-gen speed flagship, boosted by 240W supersonic charge” – we found.

As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT 2 240W smartphone was announced at the MWC 2023 tech event in the first half of this year. At this time, the company revealed all the specifications, features and price details of their upcoming handset. At the same time, the device in question is also confirmed to come as a rebranded version of the existing Realme GT Neo 5 phone in the Chinese market. In addition, the Realme GT3 240W phone will feature 25 colors of RGB lights on the back panel, it will offer several speed adjustment options and more custom settings, Realme said. As announced by Realme at the MWC 2023 event, the upcoming Realme GT 3 240W smartphone will be priced at $649 (roughly Rs. 53,500 in India). This price is allocated for the base variant of the phone with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Apart from this, the handset can also come with four more storage configurations. Namely – 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage options. We expect Realme to announce the selling price of each of these higher storage variants before the launch.
Realme GT 3 240W Specifications (Confirmed)
As mentioned earlier, the company has already confirmed the features of the Realme GT 240W smartphone. It will feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K (2772×1240 pixels) AMOLED display, which will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate and 1100 nits peak brightness. The design of this display will be punch-hole (centered) style, in the cutout of which the 16-megapixel selfie camera will be located. At the back – there will be a triple rear camera setup with an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel microscope lens.
For performance, the Realme GT 3 240W smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (built on TSMC’s NM processing node) processor and Adrenaline 730 GPU. It will get up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 terabyte of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will run on Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 (Realme UI 4.0) custom skin. In the audio department, the device will have a stereo speaker system supported by Dolby Atmos technology.
Connectivity options – will include dual-SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C charging port. And for security, in-display fingerprint scanner will be provided. In terms of power backup, the Realme GT 3 240W phone has a 4,600mAh capacity battery with 240W SuperVoc fast charging support. It measures 163.85×75.75×8.9 mm and weighs 199 grams. Finally, this upcoming flagship smartphone from Realme branding is likely to come with – Pulse White and Booster Black color options.
