A few days ago, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing said that the next generation Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 foldable phone will be launched in August. The device will be slimmer and more powerful than its predecessor model. However, the launch date of the phone has not been revealed yet. Now it is heard that Xiaomi is planning to launch many devices in the third quarter of this year, not just the MIX Fold 3 foldable.
Several devices from Xiaomi and Redmi are slated to launch in the third quarter of this year
The tipster digital chat station claims that the next devices from Xiaomi and its sub-brand Redmi include Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Redmi K60 Ultra, Redmi Pad 2 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. All the four models are likely to be launched in the third quarter of this year i.e. between July and September. Since the Xiaomi Mix Fold is already confirmed to debut on August 3, other models are likely to launch simultaneously.
Let us inform you that a lot of information about the Redmi K60 Ultra phone has already come forward from various sources. It is rumored to be launched by the end of July. The device is likely to be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimension 9200 Plus processor and support 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet has recently received the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) certification with the model number 23078KB5BC.
Again, Redmi Pad 2 has already appeared on multiple platforms like China Compulsory Certification (3C), US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Geekbench benchmarking site hinting at the launch. Listings on the certification site reveal that the Redmi Pad 2 will offer Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor, 18W charging, 8,000mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Expect to know more details about these upcoming Xiaomi devices in the coming weeks.
