Xiaomi is likely to launch the Xiaomi 14 series flagship smartphones in China by November this year. The company’s sub-brand Redmi is gearing up to launch relatively affordable flagship phones under the Redmi K70 lineup later this year. The important specifications of the Redmi K70 Pro have been leaked courtesy of a tipster. Let’s find out what information has emerged from the new leak.
Redmi K70 Pro: Specifications (Probable)
Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Redmi K70 Pro will come with Qualcomm’s unannounced flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Supposedly, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips respectively. The phone will have a 5,120mAh capacity battery that will support 120W fast charging. According to the tipster, all models of the Redmi K70 series will have a 2K resolution display.
Apart from the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro, the upcoming lineup also includes the Redmi K70e model as the successor to last year’s Redmi K60e. The predecessor came with a Dimension 8200 chip, so it is expected that the K70E will feature the upcoming Dimension 8300 chipset. The K70 series is said to offer a leather-textured rear panel and telephoto camera.
Notably, sources have revealed that the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro phones carry model numbers 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C, respectively. Meanwhile, the Redmi K70e model may be limited to the Chinese market. Whereas, the K70 and K70 Pro are expected to be launched as Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro in global markets including India.
