According to a report by XiaomiTime, the brand is planning to officially launch the Redmi Note series in September. So, just two and a half months left for the launch. Ahead of the launch, now the model numbers of the smartphones included in this series have appeared in the IMEI database, indicating the upcoming arrival.

The model numbers mentioned represent Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G phones. The “2409” part in the model number refers to the launch date, confirming that the series will be launched in September. Starting from China, the smartphones will also reach other markets around the world.
Also, the Redmi Note 14 series has appeared in the HyperOS source code. The top-end model, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G, is said to have an internal model number of “O16U” and codename “Amethyst”. The brand originally codenamed the Redmi Note series with the name Ratna. Amethyst is a transparent variety of quartz, usually found in purple.
