For the first time in the history of iPhone, 8K video recording is coming up with iPhone 17 series

A 4K video can be recorded on 120FPS in the IPhone 16 Pro model last year, though some Android smartphones already recorded more advanced resolution videos.

However, a new report claims that 8K video recording will be available in the iPhone 17 series. On the Chinese Social Media Site Webo, a tipstar claims that 8k video can be recorded with the iPhone 17 Pro model. It should be noted that this feature on the Android smartphone is long ago, but this facility is not available on iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro MAX.

A 4K video can be recorded in the IPhone 16 Pro model last year, though some Android smartphones already recorded more advanced resolution videos, including Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra models.

Apple is trying to bring their upcoming iPhone models with 8K video recording support to let them be. However, the report has not confirmed that an 8K video recording of the iPhone 5 series will be supported, but it is expected that the iPhone 5 Pro models will have this feature.
