Ending the long wait, Redmi has finally confirmed the launch date of the Redmi Note 14 series in the Chinese market. The unveiling of these much-awaited smartphones will take place at a launch event later this month. At the same event, the company is also rumored to unveil the Redmi Buds 6 TWS earbuds. The Redmi Note 14 series is coming to the market this week
Redmi is gearing up to unveil the new Redmi Note 14 model in China on September 26 at 7pm (local time). Apart from confirming the launch date, the brand has also confirmed a few other things about the Note 14 series. As such, the lineup will have three models – Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.
Apart from this, official images of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus have revealed that both the devices will have a curved-edge display on the front. The squarish camera island on the back of the Redmi Note 14 Pro model will house three extended camera units and an LED flash. A protective glass will cover the Note 14 Pro's camera sensors Both the devices will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). This main camera will be supported by two additional cameras and an LED flash unit.
Talking about the color options, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is confirmed to come in four shades like Midnight Black, Mirror Porcelain White, Twilight Purple and Phantom Blue. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will come in three options, which are Midnight Black, Mirror Porcelain White and Sand Star Green. The brand is yet to confirm the color options for the standard Redmi Note 14 model.
A promotional poster has confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro models will offer IP69 dust and water resistance rating. Besides, the display of all three models will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 (Gorilla Glass Victus 2).
Let us know that the company will offer King Kong Guarantee service for buyers of Redmi Note 14 series. It offers a one-year warranty against water damage, free screen replacement within the first year and a one-year battery cover warranty. It includes a five-year battery warranty, battery replacement below 80% health and a “365-day replacement without repair” clause for hardware issues. However, activating this special service may cost an additional 595 Yuan (around Rs. 7,100).
According to recent reports, the Redmi Note 14 Pro models will feature a 1.5K resolution OLED panel, a 50-megapixel triple camera setup and up to 90W fast charging support. The Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ models are likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimensity 7350 chipsets respectively.
