A popular Chinese tipster is behind the feature leak of the upcoming Redmi 13 5G smartphone. The model is claimed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. Notably, the predecessor was also launched with this same chipset. That means no upgrade in the SOC department will go unnoticed.
However, the charging capacity of the successor will be improved, the tipster said. In this case, the handset may be powered by a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which will offer 33W fast charging via USB Type-C port. Note that the predecessor model only supports 18W charging speed. So Redmi is going to bring a significant upgrade in the charging department of the upcoming phone.
Incidentally, the global variant of the Redmi 13 5G phone is confirmed to carry the model number 2406ERN9CC and the Indian version 2406ERN9CI. Although this same handset was also recently spotted with the model number 24066PC95I. In this case, the presence of two letters ‘PC’ in the model number clearly indicates that a rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi phone will be launched under the sub-brand Poco. The name of which will probably be Poco M7 5G.
