The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is coming soon. Ahead of the launch, the phone has been spotted on various certification platforms. Now it has appeared on China's 3C site.
IQ is expected to launch the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ smartphone in the Chinese market next September. It will be a new addition to the Z9 series, which already includes the iQOO Z9x, iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9 Turbo models. These devices debuted in China in April this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets respectively. Recent reports suggest that the upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will be similar to the existing iQOO Z9 Turbo. However, the main difference is that the Plus variant will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Recently, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ model was spotted on China's MIIT certification database. And now, the device has received approval from China's 3C (CCC) certification platform. This indicates that the handset will hit the market soon, possibly in September itself.
iQOO Z9 Turbo+ gets 3C certification
The upcoming IQ Z9 Turbo Plus phone has been listed in China Compulsory Certification Database with model number V2417A. The listing shows two chargers. The V8073L0A1-CN / V8073L0E0-CN / V8073L0A1-CN chargers support up to 80W charging, while the V9082L0A1-CN charger offers 90W charging. However, tipster Digital Chat Station says the device will only support 80W charging. He also mentioned the key features of the device.
iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Phone Specifications (Expected)
Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ model will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel, offering 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will have a short-focus optical-type in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For performance, the device will have MediaTek Dimension 9300 Plus, which is the most powerful MediaTek chip currently. For power backup, it is also expected to have a 6,000 mAh battery. However, there is no information available about the RAM or storage capacity of this device.
For photography, the iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus phone's rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. And a 16 megapixel camera will be seen in front of the phone.
